The amazing power of a nursery rhyme.
I was singing a song to Samantha today,
"...and if the Devil doesn't like it he can sit on a tack, OUCH, sit on a tack, and if the Devil doesn't like it..."
and in the middle of the song I just started weeping. (I know, my poor children never know what to think!)
Right now, in my heart, the devil isn't the one on the tack, I am. I'm just sitting here on a tack.
Well, I should say, I was. No more. Satan has no business in my life. My depression and hurts do not have to be. I choose this day whom I will serve and I choose to stop sitting on a tack. I am living in the middle of one of my greatest dreams...being a wife and mommy and I'm not always happy about that. It's that tack I'm sitting on though. I have an awesome family and today has been so fun. It's been a while since I had a 'fun' day in mommy land! I think I'll do my best to live everyday in this 'fun' and stop sitting on a tack. OUCH!

Yeah, I'm sure you will have enough running around to do with your girls! The wedding starts at 3:30. there are babysitters during the wedding but not the reception. I am so happy and excited that you guys are coming! Can't wait...TWO MONTHS!!
