A new house!

We found a new house on base today! I'm pretty excited about moving on base. I just recently admitted to myself that I am in really bad debt and it's time to make it go away. Moving on base will help save a TON of money. I love our huge apartment but I'd love to be out of debt even more! Also, it's just so much closer to all those extra sets of hands that want to help and know exactly what it's like to be in my shoes...I can ask them for help without having to answer a lot of questions. I'll take help however I can get it (really, I will!) but when it's that stress free, it's even better!

We had people over for dinner tonight for the second weekend in a row...I just LOVE that. We haven't been able to do that much this year due to the fact that it's weird to have a family over when your husband isn't there, but that is just so much a part of who I am...it energizes me! I didn't even know this couple until they came through our doors but every second was a blessing!

There are so many things you don't think about 'losing' when your husband deploys....and yet, you gain things you'd never think about too...like the deep relationships you form within a matter of days of meeting someone (other women 'alone') and all those fun girls night outs! You can't justify as many of those when he's home...but when he's gone, it's your sanity on the line, no justifying needed!

rambling...Signing out for now!

Holly I love reading your thoughts because you describe them so vividly. You also give me encouragement to remember all the special things one gains, by the grace of God, even when feeling like there's only "losing." I've often felt that when when my husband is away even if it's only a few weeks.

It's great to have others to identify with on these issues in understanding the trials of motherhood too.

Love ya lots,
Lindsey
