new level

Crazy week:

Oasis (the high schoolers at church), Bible Study, MOPS, 2 MORE ear infections = 5 or less hours of sleep a night for mommy, 1 MORE Dr. office visit for me, 0 naps for Lydia since last Thursday, Nana coming on Saturday and this doesn't sound so bad when I write it all out but really, you have to be here - it's a new level of fatigue that I didn't know existed. Excuse me if I kinda chuckle when you say you're tired. I'm not being judgmental or pathetic, I'm just laughing that I can still even half way function. I will be very careful for a long time after this about when I say I'm tired!

Is it bad when your doctor laughs at you and says "Oh, yeah, you're huge" when she's measuring you? Not that I needed her to tell me but I'm pretty sure it's the ONLY time in my entire life that I won't notice exactly what someone says, when they say something like that, until later! Really, it happened. I'm 26 1/2 weeks and I'm measuring 31 1/2 weeks. I just agreed with her when she said it and later laughed at the irony.
It was a much needed giggle!
