detailed update

Sophie (below) Nora (above)

Samantha - another ear infection, poor kid.
Lydia - potty training and loving it, weird kid.

Nora & Sophie - still waiting for those airways and brains to work together and get those bodies to breath on their own without any 'glitches' (otherwise known as Bradycardia). Looking at another 3-5 days and then home with monitors until they out grown this.
Haven't gained any weight yet, also waiting on that.

Nana Benton, Grandma and Grandpa Panter are all here and we are keeping everyone very busy with this crazy situation.

Jake - stepping up to the very big job of "Boss" - we are not having the most pleasant experience with this particular NICU and have had a lot of meetings with 'big wigs' and a lot of talks with lots of apologizing and groveling on their part (the NICU made a VERY big boo boo). He has been on top of it every moment and yet still very 'there' for his wife and kids and family.

Holly - hanging in there fighting a depression over the fact that my babies are not home but rather are with, for the most part, an incompetent nursing staff 24/7. When I'm with them I want to be home with everyone else, when I'm home with everyone else I just want to be there with the twins protecting them to the best of my ability. Feeling torn in too many directions. Hanging in the balance just waiting to be together as a family. Noticing that God has sent angel after angel after angel to keep me from being depressed...He is a God of deepest mercy.

Hang in there Holl-Doll. We are all praying for you! Can you feel the love? They'll be home before you know it. This is just a teeny little blip in the whole scheme of things. We all love you!

Holly! Jake is "superman" and you are "superwoman!" Kevin and I are praying for you and Jake and ALL the girls. I just realized how silly I am for not wanting to bother you with a call...I will call you tomorrow! Your babies are beautiful!

Holly! You and Jake are two of the most amazing people that I have ever met! There is no doubt in my mind that you and Jake will get through any trial that God may send your way because I know that Jesus is on your side all the way! You and your wonderful family are always in my prayers! And I know that Jake is amazing, but you seem to forget that you are amazing too! You have raised two beautiful girls amazingly just as well as Jake, and now you have two more to care for! TRUST me: You and Jake work as a team and you two are just Supercouple to me! haha. Don't forget that! I love you guys like you were my own family, and your daughters too!
