checkin' in

been too long!

#1 - Jake and I got a 'last minute' date night on Friday. Went to see Amazing Grace. AMAZING. Like another one of my friends put so well, we wanted to go buy tickets to the next showing and watch it again.

favorite quote from the movie: "seems to me if you have a bad taste in your mouth you spit it out. you don't keep swallowing it back over and over again."

#2 - brace yourself...
I (along with three other friends and their kids) took ALL FOUR girls to the ZOO yesterday.
you may now begin worshiping me. not really.....but it was awesome. Babies did great, Samantha walked for two hours straight (not because she had to, she just had a 3 year old boy friend that never let her out of his sight or hand!) and Lydia had a lot of fun.

2 double strollers (both mine)
2 single strollers
5 girls (4 mine)
4 boys
4 mommies
0 camera (it's in the stinkin' shop....along with my van still!)


I needed a trip like that before Jake took off, it was encouraging to know that if I really need to, I will be able to get out. Yea!

Other than that, it's the same busy around here that it always is.
Enjoying the weather and soaking up the time we have left with Jake!
