Homecoming

*you can't walk through our hallway to get to the bedrooms (you sorta have to climb and wiggle)
*the bathrooms are just insane
*there is folded laundry all over the couch, a basket of clean laundry outside the dryer and every hamper is full of dirty clothes
*my floors are dirty and need mopping but my mop is broken
*the trash is over flowing in the garage and the chipmunks have found a new food source in the overflow - which means it's everywhere!
*the carpet and couch or something wreaks of spit up and I just can't seem to get it to smell any different in here
*the basement....that's all I'm gonna say.
*the dining room and guest room - SPOTLESS! (the two rooms we never use)

Jake is coming home tomorrow and I can remember a day when if the house was like this and he was coming home from a deployment I would have been freaking out...like 'in tears, not sleeping' freaking out.
O how times have changed.
I am just excited to have him home and although I really think it would have been fun to have the house nice and clean, it's just not that huge right now.
I just want my husband back, thank you very much.
