typical

I occasionally hire a baby sitter to come over after the girls go to bed so I can go shopping alone but also not worry about stressing a baby sitter out with my small country here at home.
Tonight was one of those nights.
Erin (the baby sitter) wasn't having a fabulous day so I was glad that I might be affording her the opportunity to have a few moments of mindless peace sitting on my comfy couch watching Friday night TV.

What actually happened was far far from that original picture.

The toilet over flowed and flowed and flowed all the way into the hallway and down into the basement onto the carpet that we just got dry from the flood. During the clean up she hears the big girls crying and runs up to see Samantha's feet sticking out from underneath Lydia's bed???
Samantha was crying because she was stuck and Lydia was crying because she was scared of 'the person' crying under her bed.

It wasn't a total loss. My neighbors were out burning a fire and making smores...I gave her a peace offering of marshmallows, graham crackers and chocolate and I think it might have worked. She seemed a little more relaxed when she left.

Welcome to my world!
