It was beyond my wildest dreams.
We hiked, ate, shopped, sat on the beach and then we did it all over again.
Incredible time of reflection, regrouping and reconnecting.
My favorite things were: the way it smelled (lots and lots of herbs and flowers growing everywhere!), the food!!!, the very very different landscape and the people were just quirky.
I hear that pictures are worth a thousand words but that would be enough for me to tell you all the awesome stories so, let's chat one day and I'll just tell you!

It looks like you and Jake had a wonderful time. I am so thankful that everything worked out for you to go. Grandma Mary isn't the only one with a broken foot, add me to the list. That is why I couldn't make it to the airport to see you on the return but I'm glad you had a chance to visit with your papaw. He's bragged to everyone how great you are. He didn't have to convince me I've known it for years.
