Alive

Catching you up - that'd be impossible in whole but here it is in part:

~Jake came home - it was neat.
~Jake took big girls to wedding in Texas for about 5 days while I stayed home with little girls
~Jake and I took a couple of weeks to readjust to having each other back in our lives on a daily basis - for those of you who never go through this, it's not as easy as you think!
~4th of July Jake was sicker than he'd ever been in his whole entire 30ish years - completely in bed for 2 1/2 days straight...Jody, Jake's not sure how you even blogged through your bout with the same bug!
~I am at some weird point of wondering whether or not I am capable or want to rear obedient, godly children (this seems to get me down a lot lately) and also being thankful that we have this crazy number of kids so close and never wanting it to change...I know, I'm a tad bipolar, you can say it. Really, God is doing some neat things in my heart...it's pretty exciting.
~Explanation for leave of absence from the blog???
well, I guess it would just be that my 'routine' got a little shaken but I think I've found the new rhythm so here we go!!! (I'm just slow...that's all)
