When a friend calls you in tears asking if you can help because her child is sick and needs immediate attention you'd stop the world right?
Of course you would, anyone would.
It just becomes sort of a circus act when there are multiple children involved on both sides.
It took 3 mommies to take care of 1 mommy today - mostly because of my very own circus.
I went to the house in need to take care of the children Mommy #1 had to leave home.
Mommy #2 walked 7 children 1/2 mile one way and 6 children 1/2 mile the other pushing a quad stroller just to drop off one child at preschool.
Mommy #3 brought that child home after school so Mommy #2 could continue to watch the 6 children (which was now 8 because the neighborhood kids came out to play) because I was still at the house in need.
Now if that isn't a village's worth of people, I don't know what is!
