glimpse

I occasionally get a glimpse of the fact that we will not be in 'this' stage forever. I think God gives me those glimpse just to encourage me to keep going.
We planned to grill out with our one set of neighbors this afternoon for Labor Day.
It, at the last minute, turned into the whole neighborhood - in our yard.
Somehow, between our four little sets of feet running around like puppies at our feet we managed to squeeze in several mad dashes to the store, set up a buffet in our kitchen, relax, eat dinner, and Jake made homemade ice cream.
It was a combined effort with the original set of neighbors involved but the point of all this rambling is that our 'puppies' were so amazing.
They laughed, the played, they were great!
I was so proud of them!

One day, all the picnics will be like this!!!
