This is an e-mail from my mom to me and my sister-in-law
(just in case you hadn't heard this: Lindsey also has 11 mo old twins, a two year old, all girls, her husband/my brother is deployed to the "A" country for 15 months and they live in a foreign country at the moment)
So, you can imagine why my mom's mind is probably continually on all of us - this particular thought I just had to share:
Ok Girls,
I thought you two would find this particularly amusing. The other day, I pulled the vacuum cleaner out of the closet in Dad's little apartment. It is a cheap Hoover, that picks up virtually nothing and is obviously just in there for show. However, I decided to try and work with it as best I could and I was looking for adjustment buttons on it, when a noticed a button on top that said "Dial-a-Nap" with a large, medium and small setting ( Yes, it was spelled NAP). I immediately found myself thinking about the days when I was raising little ones, and why didn't they come with a "Dial-a-Nap" option! The fact that I could select the "length of Nap" was amazing to me as well. I'm sure you both have days where you wish you could set the Nap timer for a long time!
There just seems to be some inequality in the fact that cheap non working vacuums come with this option, and perfect, precious little grand girls don't! Wouldn't you agree?
TEE HEE
Life is funny that way!
Love ya!
Mom
