So, my last post about traffic on my blog was just me being shocked.
Now this is me being scared.
I put a 'site meter' on here that tells me just how many people are really lookin' at this thing, not just how many hits or views it gets but how many different people and where they are coming from.
How many?
it averages out to 50 people a day.
Now, I am writing this only to say that if 50 people are reading a day then would you please let yourself be known (unless you know that I already know!) just to ease my mind.
If there are a lot of people that I don't know how you found me then I think I'll need to put a password on here or some kind of protection like that.
I realize that our life is somewhat intriguing (I am even baffled and I'm here!) so you're curious but, Jake's job isn't exactly 'secure' and I just need to know who you are (again, unless I already know)
Just say "hi" and if we haven't met then say how you found us - after that, I'll leave you alone and let you read away - thanks...

Like work, school (which I'm in a diff lab all the time, so its always a diff computer), home, at Nathan's. Really wherever I ck email and facebook I ck you!(I think maybe your map shows cities so thats Fairborn, Dayton, Oxford, Miamisburg).

I have about 80 to 120 people that come by Thimble Thoughts everyday and yet I have the same 16 people that usually comment...and not all of them comment everyday. LOL I think a lot of those people find our blogs through searches, reading comments we leave on other people's blogs, and sometimes just blog surfing...which I do not recommend. BUT! I don't know why people won't comment. I usually always do. LOL

Can't say I check it everyday but maybe once or twice a week. If you're at all concerned then I would put on the password . . . just for peace of mind and you know all of us that check regularly will still continue to login and see what's going on in the Panter household. . . afterall it makes hard days for us seem like a piece of cake :) Oh and you had Chad in stitches over your fire. Still not sure how you managed that one. Call us when you have some time :)

I must confess that I check your site several times a week and when you post pictures I may open it two or three times a day to show the girls to my coworkers!!! But, you know me. I think that it might be a very good idea to password protect your writings because there are a lot of people out there that you may not want to read this personal stuff or figure out where there is a house full of beautiful girls (including their mother). But, like I said, that is just me. But if it scared you to think about someone that you don't know going to your site then maybe that was for a reason. I love to read about what is going on in the Panter house but don't comment because I always open it up at work and I just don't usually have very much time. But you can definitely count me as a heavy site hitter!!! We can't wait to see ya'll.
