done

it's cold it's cold it's cold it's cold.
I'm done I'm done I'm done I'm done.

We were SOOOOO close to having all the snow melt that has been on the ground for a month now but NO, more snow tonight. More snow.
More cabin fever, more snow.

Now, I like snow. I like the way it looks, I like the way it feels, I like to snowboard, I like to sled, I even like to take walks in the snow.
But, if it could have just stopped snowing until my kids were all old enough to enjoy that with me, that would have been awesome.

No, no such thing, instead, more snow tonight.

(it's not AS depressing because at least now it's January....this is when it's supposed to snow....that December thing was just totally uncalled for!)

I don't know if you even remember me Holly, but we knew each other back in the Springs what seems like a lifetime ago. Anyway, I have been following your blog recently & love reading all of your entries; many of which I can fully relate. This one especially! My husband plows for the state, so I have come to fully hate snow!!! I mean, it's pretty & all and don't get me wrong I enjoy watching the big flakes fall, sledding and many of the things mentioned in your blog, but it also reminds me that my husband is going to be called into work & be gone until wee hours of the morning. I am most definitley ready for summer! =)

Right there with you Holly.
Everyone here in Salt Lake keeps saying that this is not normal, and that they really don't get this much snow on a regular basis. I hope they are right. Meanwhile, it is snowing here AGAIN today, and you would be proud of me that I got out and drove in it anyway!
I'm praying that God will make me more of a "winter gal"! Love ya.
