OHIO!!!!!

Day #1 of driving: I thought to myself "Wow, they have been really quiet for a really long time, I wonder what they have been doing.......SAMANTHA!!!!!!!!!"
(it was washable but not that washable! her markers got replaced with crayons at the next stop!)Night #1 we found a hotel somewhere in the middle of IL with a beautiful swimming pool - a much needed taste of summer (even if it was indoor)!

Day #2 - ahhhhh....now that's what I like to see.

Wedding Day #1 - Ohio got 20 inches of snow in about a day and a half, the first day being the day of the wedding. In order to not put anyone in unneeded danger the bride and groom decided to reschedule the reception for the next day. Now, the normal bride would have been a wreck but not Savannah, the lady handled it with complete ease and was excited to boot- it was a beautiful wedding and we all looked forward to the next day when we could celebrate the wedding! (and hey, who gets to wear their wedding dress two days in a row???? or just two days for that matter!?)

Wedding Night: Jake and I spent many many many hours in this Applebees back in the day so it was only appropriate to pay homage...us and 23 of our closest Ohio buddies! It was bittersweet, more sweet.

The Kings.
Not many people have the accomodations for a family of six, especially when it's OUR six. HELLO! But the Kings, they did. It was glorious. Not only was it physically comfortable, we had an abundance of help, love and toys.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.
Without the comfort and help your home brought this trip would not have been possible.

Wedding Day #2: (I mean, that just sounds fun....wedding day #2!)
beautiful reception, awesome company, great music and this time, the girls got to join in the fun:

Josh and Savannah, you looked stunning on the dance floor but Lydia and Josh, you took the show! Lydia danced for 2 hours STRAIGHT, she outlasted everyone!

(for those of you who do not know Josh and Savannah, yes, that is a correct representation of the difference in size and yes, they are that beautiful!)

Paul, we totally enjoyed getting to know you and can't wait for yours and Lisa's 'big' day - it will be soon!!!!
Things not picture but seared into my mind:
~late night talks catching up on life with all my girls from the FIGHT
~reminising on 'good times'
~the unexpected tearful break downs when I saw all our FIGHTers faces
~how incredible our kids were on this trip (really, it was surreal how great they were)
~the spiritual impact and release of a whole huge bunch of frustrations over my current life - more on that later but really, God was a workin'.
