apparently when you say you're going to 'quit' and you have four small children, people worry.
....and I'm glad they do.

thank you for the comments, the prayers and for my phone ringing OFF THE HOOK!
it was awesome, it was perfect.

Jake came home for about 45 minutes and I ran away. Literally, I 'ran' and it's like 60 DEGREES out there- beautiful!

I knew it was going to be warm but I thought it was going to be warm later - who knew?!

so, here is what we had today that we haven't had all winter all on 'great' days like I was having today:
#1 - Daddy HOME and able to relieve mommy, even if it was just for 45 minutes~

#2 - an escape. we can't go anywhere because they aren't 'sure' whether Sophie is contagious or not (pretty sure she's not or I'd have FOUR kids with pneumonia, not just one) so because the sun is out AND doing it's job we had somewhere to go, OUTSIDE!!!!!!

#3 - a fly to distract 3 toddlers. I think they spent a good 15 minutes torturing this fly and I've never been so excited to see a fly -

#4 - sometimes the most obvious toys are just a little too obvious, this was at least 45 minutes of fun:

(and don't let Nora's smile fool you - she has been THE fussiest! she just trying to make a liar out of me - that is a pretty convincing smile though!!!!)

so, the fussiness didn't stop, the fighting didn't turn into hugs and kisses (despite all my prompting), I'm still sick of the sick, but we had just enough distraction this morning to keep me around.

nap time isn't shaping up a whole lot better so still, keep praying, it worked for this morning, it's GOT to work for this afternoon!
