3 Pink Roses for my three year old Lydia Rose:

Dress Rehearsal:

Lydia was ticked off (crying!) that the other kids weren't on 'their numbers'. How do you tell a three year old that not all kids know that stuff yet, just chill out and dance!? You don't. You just sit in the audience and giggle because what else can you do?

Recital:

I pumped her full of sugar hoping that would help 'relax' her. It did. Too much.

She was more interested in looking at the back drop, tickling her friend next to her and waving at Samantha and me. She didn't dance, but who cares?!

She was adorable.

It's tough to be on that stage and be relaxed at all, so she didn't dance but I am so proud that she was brave enough to be comfortable up there!
