it is by grace and supernatural strength alone that I am making through this day.
- the kids woke up in very 'sad' moods:
asking for daddy, all needing extra cuddle time, lots of random and very sad crying
- a next door neighbor was beat up by her husband last night and God nudged my heart to GO and just be there/pray/do whatever:
this turned into making them (her and the 'crew' helping her) dinner, finding moving boxes and people to help her move and praying with her. I barely know this woman, but she is God's creation, I am His child - I represent Him. I was scared, I still am. She is leaving him, that is a praise!
- tonight is Lydia's dance recital:
snacks and activities need to be packed for their time back stage, dinner reservations need to be made for a celebration afterwards, snacks need to be packed for Samantha for during the recital, dresses need to be ironed, costume needs to be ready, camera needs to be ready, I need to get ready, babies dinner needs to be made for babysitter, hair, make up and somewhere in there the girls need to rest before we go (this isn't going so well right now!)
- BIG storm coming again tonight:
I'm glad other people watch TV because I just don't (except for late late at night after the weather man has gone to bed). Apparently we are under major storm/tornado whatever. I found out because my mom, in Colorado, saw it on the news.
So, I thought I should clean out my garage in order to fit the car in to protect from hail. This meant moving a double stroller, a quad stroller, 4 bikes, 2 small tables, four chairs, toys upon toys upon toys and moving all the small swing set/slide things we have up against the house so they don't fly away. Because I did all that you all can rest assure it won't do anything more than sprinkle tonight!
My days have been crazy lately but this one just takes the cake.

I think your week and my week has been just like the weather this week0 totally crazy and unpredictable! Good luck tonight and have fun!
BIG HUG from our house to yours!!!
Dance recitals are the best, I have so many great memories from mine growing up. Enjoy. P.S. Thanks for cleaning out your garage to save us from the severe weather as I am completely freaked out!
See - God provided someone who needed help "speaking for herself" at this difficult time....He knows your heart and your desire and He provided you for her. He works in subtle ways. Be safe tonight.
If your neighbor needs me, please put her in touch with me, ok?
