tonight was parent observation night at dance.

The teachers told the kids to "put on their biggest smiles and sing really really loud!!!"

I was close enough to Lydia to hear her say very matter of factual that she was
not going to smile and that she did not want to sing really really loud she only wanted to be really really loud when she talked to me.
