cloth napkins

I have 12 plain white cloth napkins
I want to be crafty - either by myself or with the girls
They could be for us or for a gift

I am so not in the mood to google this so I'm polling the audience...
any ideas?

Ummmm...
1. Learn to batique?
2. Have the girls paint them and make them into handkerchiefs?
3. Sew them into tiny purses or sunglass holders?
4. Have the girls put handprints on them... and then make it into a quilt? Or pillows?
5. Print out family pictures on iron-on paper and then iron them onto the napkins and then sew it into a cloth book (baby's like em)?
6. Sew two together and then fill it with dry corn to make a bean bag that can be warmed in the microwave?
7. Cut them into triangles, then have the girls decorate them, then glue them on head bands to make dew rags?

Ok maybe these ideas aren't that great, but I fel bad that no one else responded.

I say tie dye them into cool hippy pirate bandanas and go back to that park and take over the pirate ship from those bad boy pirates....

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I love Phlip's idea!!! I say go armed with play swords and everything!!

Obviously none of us know what to do with 12 napkins either!! You could something patriotic with them now that the 4th is coming home.

I like Naomi's handprint idea and make them into pillows or something..or even the pictures..but then give them as random gifts to grandparents and great grandparents. They would LOVE something like that.

i thought of handprints and writing something like "messy, messy" or something (since you use napkins to wipe your dirty hands). you could do mouth/face prints too!!
