more on Lydia....

Lydia LOVES to get dressed
Lydia LOVES to pick out her own outfits
Lydia LOVES to do her hair
Lydia's mommy LOVES it that she LOVES this but...
Lydia LOVES it all so much that her mommy has had to find very creative ways to NOT make it a fight
Lydia's mommy somehow slipped up today and didn't realize exactly what Lydia was wearing until we were already AT the store
Lydia's mommy is still baffled at how this happened
Lydia's mommy's friends are not.

Ooh, that is one of my favorite things! The mismatched outfits they come up with...the shorts and cowboy/snow boots, the grocery shopping in pjs, a plaid and print together....
Every single mom at the store must know if your toddlers are mismatched, they dressed themselves. She's awfully cute no matter what she's wearing!

So tame...no biggie! Check out my blog - I'll post one of my favorites of Amber's mis-matched outfits. But this has been my motto since day one "Confidence Before Fashion". But I'm starting to realize I need to start teaching fashion a little bit at least at this point. I had my first day the other day of drawing the line and saying "Go change"
"Confidence Before Fashion"

One of Lydia's mommy's friends doesn't understand why this outfit isn't acceptable....

You have to give the child credit for having matching shoes, on the right feet, her clothes are not backwards or inside out, and her hair is done. And you know she wasn't in that at the start of the day, that was surely outfit #3 or #4. Very CUTE!
