this was one year ago.
I gotta be honest, it seems more like 10 years ago.
I know that everyone else says that time flies when they are little but I haven't experienced that yet.
That's not a complaint or a bad thing, it does come at a shock, but time, here at least, does not fly. It doesn't 'drag' but it doesn't 'fly' either. I wonder why?

I just told someone the other day...that time doesn't fly until your baby turns three and a half! She just had a newborn and has an 18 mo. and a 3 yr. old. All boys..she is 38 and I just thought I'd tell her so she didn't feel like she was missing something since everyone always says that to you...it really doesn't seem like it flies when you are so busy with toddlers.
Anyway, I just had to write and say you are not alone! It didn't fly for me either, not a bad thing but just the truth...

I began to feel like time was flying by when our oldest was 4. The 4-6 years are a blur. They go really fast, and I hear the school years go even faster! Once they get a bit less needy and emotional and the outbursts become less frequent, time starts to move more quickly. When you're in a state of continuous crying and messes and need, that all require constant attention from mom, the days do seem very long. (When they are able to use a public restroom, and wash their hands alone, that really helps too!)
That's my take.
