Losing it.

I have tucked a pen behind my ear and then searched, not knowing where it was before.
I have misplaced things, lots of things, before.
I have walked around entire malls and grocery stores with one earing before.
But I have not, until today, walked around the house for 10 minutes searching high and low for a book that was LITERALLY in my left hand.

So, I have to chalk it up to motherhood but still?
IT WAS IN MY HAND!!!

Funny. Just wait until you're no longer a "twenty something" mom, it will get even worse :)

I blame things like that on my mother because she did that ALL the time...it's an inherited disorder in my family!

Makes me feel so much better...thanks for sharing. Right now I blame it on pregnancy brain, but it's really just mommy brain!

I don't know what's so bad about the book being in your hand. I look for glasses (which are on the top of my head) all the time. I thought it was normal.

Don't feel bad, I totally understand that! I was getting ready to leave my house once and was really annoyed that I couldn't find my cell phone. After searching awhile, I finally yelled "Where the heck is my phone!?" To which my friend replied, "Seriously? Um, you're talking to me on it." Duh!

I did that the other day, could not find the phone, looked and looked, then I paged it, and I really felt stupid it was in my hand with my address book!! one of those "I'm a smart person I promise" moments!
