it's pretty cute to hear a three and four year old sing the words to all the songs
(especially the 'Little Girls' song ;-)

Annie is the first Movie I ever went to. I'm a total fan! I vividly remember singing along to the tape in the car when my Dad reached over an turned it right down, looked at me with a half smile, half pained look, and said, "honey, I didn't know anyone could sing so high! Let's listen to something else now, okay?". At the time I took it as a compliment (I was 4) but now that I have my own "singers" I know what he was going through!
Love Annie. The music, the dancing, the movie. It's all good!
