broken record

It's Monday.
The first three hours of it were awful and we've been recovering ever since.

Why the h*** I chose to attempt my once every 3 months trip to Wal-mart on a Monday, I'll never know?
Just a reminder - their carts don't steer well, especially if you only have one hand, I can not let my kids walk because it's just scary there so I have to have either two carts or a cart and a stroller, the employees are incredibly disrespectful - I mean, it's unreal (and this is just in Nebraska mind you....other Wal-marts, in my experience so far, are like the Taj Mahal when you compare how you're treated here)
I don't even want to waste the time in describing it - it's just bad.
Target is the same price in the end.

There's more but that's all the reminder I need.

Three of the girls were great at the store - next time we'll just leave the fourth with the neighbor- ooooo....that girl!!!! ;-)

you should see the wal-mart here. i would think wal-mart would want to revoke its name. it is dirty, scary and doesn't have hardly anything that i'm looking for (even very typical stuff like a plastic shower liner). i've stopped going. we just try to get what we need at target or shop in michigan.

There is a reason I call it the tenth circle. And sorry, but every Wal-Mart I have been in, in every state we have lived in or visited has been the same. I go there out of sheer desparation for something, like a $5 plastic thing to replace Jake's bike tire that not even the specialty bike shop carried. That was the trip that an employee sat talking to her customer (who was another employee) ignoring the fact that we were in line. I should have just bought a new bike.

Do you guys have Walmart superstores? With the full super market and everything?
I think our population just isn't as dense, cause I actually find it a place to retreat and entertain the kids, but then again I live in a travel trailer right now, and I only have 2 kiddos, so they both fit in the cart still.
Sorry you had a sucky Mondy. Better luck next time.

I say the devil lives in Wal-Mart.

K-Mart's shopping carts are WORSE! They creak and make all sorts of horrible noises.

I wonder what it takes for them to get rid of their old ratchety carts? You'd think they were haunted or something..
