Fantastic Fridays

Here's what we use and the order we do it in:

1. Pray
2. Recite our memory verse(s), whatever they are at the time
3. Read Bible Story
4. Read from Noah Websters Reader
5. Read from the old fashioned Dick and Jane books
6. Read one chapter from Little Women (mommy reads and points with finger to words, if there is a word we are working on from the reader then I have them point it out and say it with me)
7. Rod and Staff Pre-school workbooks
8. Practice writing on our writing tablets (Target or any store like it) - we work on the letters we focused on in the reader or if they are showing interest in a particular word or letter, I draw it in dots several times, help them trace it a few times and let them try the rest on their own.
9. Practice writing names every school day on the tablets

(we are a crafty group and so 'craft' time is just part of our lives, I don't make it a part of school)

11. as you can see the little girls do 'their own thing' for school and mommy just cleans it up later ;-)
