new info

for those of you that I communicate with by phone, or for those of you who would like to communicate by phone, or for those of you who just need that space filled in your address book....

Jake and I both have new numbers.
We are canceling our home phone and old cell phones soon.

You can e-mail us or call our old home number and listen to the message to get the new info.

This is very exciting people....we have never not had a home phone but it's time to cut the cord ;-).

You are brave! Eric and I have not yet been willing to do that. Let me know how it goes!

By the way - I had a Walmart experience today and thought of you...in an empathetic way...I had to cry when I got home.

Holly, make certain, by following up and verifying, that your E-911 is on file and in place. I learned from the experience with Grandma choking, that they don't automatically update information. The lady on the 911 call kept asking me to verify my address over and over. It was only at the end of the call that she told me that our address on file was our first one in Colorado!
No Salt Lake in there and no current one. After the event, I got it all straightened out with the phone people, but that was just a wake up call to me that I need to make sure these things are changed and not just assume that they will be. Luv ya!

Hi sweetie, I just read your moms comment on 911 and let her know that was our Voip home phone. Cell phone 911's don't generally rely on address. They have the ability to locate you in an emergency. Some cell phones better than others so all who read this it is not fail safe. Your new phone is a 3G (that simply means 3rd generation) which actually gives you the ability to pinpoint your location like a GPS. So you have a pretty good chance of being located, however I hope you won't need to. :)
