terrible what?

Have you heard of the statement: Terrible Twos?
Well then I'm sure you've heard this one: Whoever first said 'Terrible Twos' had never had a Three year old.

Now I'm here to give you the most updated statement in that category:

Who ever said either one of those never had TWO Two year olds AND a three year old.

I told my neighbor today that by 10am I am ready just let them at each other.
My fire extinguisher is just out of water.
"Oh, she hit you...well, hit her back, I'm out of water"
"Oh, she took the toy AGAIN?...well, go take it back from her, I'm out of water"
"Oh, she's running from you so you can't get the toy?....then just scream at her, maybe it will scare her and she'll stop so you can yank it out of her hand - just figure it out...I'm out of water"
"Oh, she's on your chair?...well, knock her off, I can't help you, I'm out of water!!!!"

etc...etc....

I do have a four year old...that's the only thing holding me together right now in terms of hope for the future.

two four year olds, one five year old and one six year old....
THAT will be the life!

Our pastor last Sunday was making reference to Shadrack, Meshack and Abednego about how God rescued them IN the fire not FROM the fire and that we should stop asking God to turn down the heat and start asking Him to just meet us where ever we are....

Well, I'm here Lord...I'm out of water and it's really really hot in here.
I know there's a bigger plan, I know you need these girls to understand what it is, I know that takes me and Jake and I KNOW that you will meet us in every fire.

Please do not take the heat away, bring it on, instead please meet me there.

I have had days like this. Hang in there maybe tomorrow will be better. Its funny but I have heard this bible story several times in the last month. First I read it in a devotional book I was reading. Then our youth pastor told it to the youth. (I'm on the youth team) and then today on your blog. I am thinking God is trying to tell me something. lol
