eating my car.

I am only posting this because five other people about peed their pants in laughter when I told them - but for the record, I don't think this is funny right now.
(ok, maybe just a little but it's a wierd mix of anger and humor that I just can't explain right now)
After I posted that huge release of frustration over the stage that my kids are in right now, we get in the car, I look over and see this: what is it you ask? look closely and you can see 'mouth/teeth' marks on either side of this missing chunk.
I am forced to face the fact that my kids are offically out of control.
THEY ARE EATING MY CAR.
(it's ok. laugh. my own mother did. I will one day. just not right now.)

Hi Holly! I just read your latest posts and had to smile because the two's are so much dif. than with the babies...as you know. I still think of when your twins were born and I told you I was more "tired" when my twins were 2 than in the beginning. I think you just get worn out with all the corrections and messes. Mine are four now and yours will be soon! I will see you Sunday hopefully. I'll be at the nursery desk. Be encouraged Holly. You are doing a great job! Just two more years baby! YOu can do it! Kim

Holly,
I literally just read this quote before clicking over to your blog..."God stretches our patience to enlarge our souls." That might make you want to say, "thanks Jenn" or "shut up"...I understand either way!!;) Praying for you today.:)

I did have to laugh at your post. I know your feeling of not laughing at the moment, but will eventually.
Ella(4) during quiet time was caught in the act of peeing in a plastic cinderella tea cup!!! WHAT?!?!?! The positive spin on this is she had good aim. :)
There is YOUR chuckle for the day...I feel your frustrations as I too feel I am consistent and discipline well. So...where did this come from? :)

Strange enough: I have to say, Holly, my brother did the SAME thing to my parents' new minivan when we were kids only it was part of the the windowsill in the back seat (and he turned out okay for the record!) Hang in there ;)

Oh... I feel for you, they sound worse than my boys right now and I am barely surviving them. Today my little guy bit his brother and me. What is it with biting things???? Maybe we should try it too, and see if we are missing something. :o)! (Maybe this is where I get my emotional eating from.)

Holly,

May I offer a suggestion-- maybe if your car wasn't made of chocolate then they wouldn't feel tempted to eat it...

Send those babies to Texas so Cousin Kristen can feed them so they won't have to eat the dash!

Hey...how about this summer when Ethan sprayed my school laptop with sunscreen (screen and keyboard) when I ran to the restroom? It has not worked the same since...and I am afraid to tell my school computer person why!
