learners

just finished school with Lydia and Samantha for the morning.
I want to just jot this down for future reference:

Lydia is a very sweet learner at age 4. Gentle, smart, focused and fast. Creative and enjoys being challenged while not wanting to let go of what she already knows how to do. Would rather create a masterful art piece than write her name!

Samantha is a very intense learner at age 3. Independent, free flowing, and patient. Reading from the middle out is more fun than left to right and she's very good at it that way, picks up writing skills quick and enjoys repetition.

(side note: Samantha nursed her baby under her shirt during our entire school time this morning - courtesy of my nursing friends ;-) super cute. And the baby HAD to be swaddled correctly - courtesy of her twin baby sisters that needed to be swaddled until they were 9 months old!)
