Jake's off on a retreat with the highschoolers from church this weekend.
I wish we all could have been with him but maybe another time!
So, it's just the FIVE of us this weekend....that doesn't sound as cute as "Just the two of us" but oh boy is it ever CUTER.
We turned on yet another American Girl movie, poured some carmel corn into a bowl and us five girls curled up on the couch for a good tear jerker
(Felicity this time - oh my - they ALL make me cry.... a lot...stop it already!)
I'll have to say that our bad days are really really bad.
Our hard moments are really really hard.....really hard.
When people say, "I don't know how you do it?"
the first thing that always comes to mind is, "me neither!"
the second is, "same way you would if you woke up and had four hungry toddlers begging for attention, love, food, diapers, toys, etc... at your feet at 6am!".... I digress.
(I'm really working on that - been bad about it lately!)
BUT I KNOW that our good moments are just that much better. I'm sure every mom thinks that her good moments are better than anyone else but mine really are.
Four little girls.
There aren't many words, it's just amazing.
Twins.
There really are no words here but if you're a mama of twins, you know what I'm not talking about!!! (Nora sat 'in' Sophie's lap for about 1/2 the movie tonight....I could decipher whether I was crying at the movie or them!?)
Freedom, The love of our Saviour, the deep fact that we truly 'want' for NOTHING, ours girls do not struggle physically in any way, mentally in anyway or even emotionally in anyway.
We are blessed and our good moments are very very good.
Feeling overwhelmed with blessings tonight.
Struggling with the what to do and acting on the thankfulness but thankful to my marrow indeed.

(we wore Nora out...about five minutes until the movie was over I looked and there she was - passed out on the rocking chair - sweet girl - all that cuddling really took somethin' out of her!!! it's dark because I'm working with my camera phone but still wanted to capture this moment for all time!!!)
