that's the name of the game today.
making the 2 1/2 hr drive today to Grand Island to be a part of their women's Christmas event.
have a friend driving with me.
have another friend watching the girls until Jake gets home.
feeding everyone involved dinner.
prepping the girls emotionally/logistically (they need to know way in advance every little detail for the smoothest transition possible)
grocery shopping for some 'extras' for all my helpers.
watching the weather - this is December and this is the mid-west.
braving the weather/wind to get the groceries - uh...it's flipping cold and even flippinger windy today and we walk really really slow due to the four very short pair of legs.
getting my clothes/makeup/hair stuff ready.
packing extra clothes in case of really bad weather.
practicing the speech just ONE MORE TIME ;-) (feels like all I've been doing this week)
getting in extra kisses, hugs and cuddle times so I don't leave the 'cups' empty.
and, most importantly, praying that this will be a true Holy Spirit experience, filled with ripple effects.
it will all happen....right?

I had to brave the flippin cold and even flippinger(new word?) wind today too-to get that flippin Veggie Tales Nativity! I blame your MOM!
I had a feeling this is how your day would go today so I sent some extra prayers your way this morning (while we were out in the flippin cold).
