weird day.
I bought a bathing suit and snow boots within 30 min's of each other.
funny funny.
There is like A LOT of snow on the ground here BUT Monday 5:45 am sharp my friend and I are starting a swim routine from 5:45 am to 7 am (that includes the shower!)
(she says it will make my thighs fall off and I'd like to see that!)
I'm nervous and I'm excited.
Not a huge swimmer but have always wanted to learn. She just happens to have been a competitive swimmer in the past and would love to teach me ;-).
Here goes nothin'......
oh, and my feet will be warm walking to and from the building ;-)

Just a tip. Use flippers. I used to swim with my super awesome swimmer friend and I felt like I was going to die trying to keep up with her seemingly effortless strokes. One day I gave up and used flippers. I felt like I was cheating, but it was so nice not to be passed every 25 meters by my olympian friend. Later I noticed that my thighs were falling off anyway, and it turns out using flippers isn't cheating at all. you still work the muscles you need to work. Also my kick strengthened and now I can actually swim faster than she can with legs only. Good luck with your routine. It sounds like fun (except the part about getting up so early). You go girl.
