Happy New (Christmas) Year to us!

It was sweet. It was quiet. It was just enough. It was simple.
It will be done this way again and again in our home.
I'm sure the depth will get deeper but for now, with our home full of toddlers, it was perfect.
I think I could have gotten Lydia the Only Hearts Club dolls, Samantha a locket and make up and Nora and Sophie their potties and we could have called it a day.
They all got a little more but not too much and they loved it all!
Merry Christmas to me....let the POTTY TRAINING BEGIN!!! (Day 1 wasn't too bad!)
Lockets and sisters who can't wait to put each others pictures in them!
It had Jake and me in tears all day.
we continued with the 'horses' theme for Nora and Sophie - something the big girls aren't super into.
the locket has been the subject of many Christmas requests (Annie wears one so, of course!)
and I, of course, scored THE best present!

Before Clint deployed in the summer, one of our very dear "honorary grandparents" from church gave Julianna a beautiful locket that she put a picture of her Daddy in. It was one of the most meaningful gifts she has ever received. She wore that locket almost every day! Next time Jake deploys, give them each a li'l picture for their lockets. It is a wonderful thing for them! :)
