this is new.

Potty Training Day 3

so, I have discovered something new.
Twins are a little tricky to potty train.

I know, that sounds obvious, but I thought I had thought it through enough to where it would yes, be more work but no, not be tricky.

WRONG. (again ;-)

They each have their own potty.
The potties are very different so as to be very easy to tell them apart.

For the most part they 'mark their own territory' (I couldn't help myself)
but occasionally they share/switch.

They are #3 and #4, they are twins and so SOMETIMES they are a little more independent than your typical just turned two year old.
Meaning that they will go to their potties on their own, pull their own panties down and sit.
(hardly ever accomplishing anything more than that, but still...they do it unprompted!)

So, three times now I have found pee in a potty, have no idea when it was done or by whom.

Hmmm....

They are sneaky and both want credit for it so as to both get the candy.

New rule.
They have to announce, like Samantha STILL does, that they are going pee pee or poo poo AND actually DO it in order to get the prize.

They might be sneakier than me but I am still smarter.
that's what I'm telling myself anyway, in order to keep my sanity in this pool of urine that our home has become.

If I had to sum up our three days I'd say they are going at a normal pace.
Not fast, not slow...they are getting it but we are so far from done!

Them girls are sneaky. Next they will probably start claiming they are the other twin (as they already do) to take credit for the pee pee, that the other twin did, to get the candy. You gotta watch out for them sneaky ones! Can't wait to see you all tonight!
ps. I will be bringing Sydaleigh's potty.
