just another day.

I have lived in Hawaii, Alaska, Oregon, Germany, Alabama, Texas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Ohio and Nebraska.
I have traveled to an unlistable amount of places (meaning I don't even remember them all!).
I have four sweet little girls.
I have an awesome husband and friend that I get to live with.
I sometimes speak before I think, volunteer before I think and act before I think.
I sometimes regret it and sometimes don't.
I am passionate, love Jesus and am very far from perfection, although that never seems to stop me from trying!?
I hurt deep, get excited deep and feel very deep.
If it matters to me, it will probably matter to you soon too because I like company!

I can now claim 30 years on this earth and to that I want to say:
it's just another day.
not that there is anything mundane about my days,
on the contrary.....
I don't remember ever having a mundane day in my life.

So, here's to another 30 passionate, risk taking, not so perfect, Jesus loving, family loving years!!!!

(and thanks for all your work mom and dad - really, I feel like birthdays should celebrate the parents more than the one born....just makes sense doesn't it?)

Happy Birthday! I remember when I turned 30. I thought it might I was supposed to act "mature" and "responsible" now. That didn't last very long! Look at all you have already in 30 short years. Think what the next 30 will bring!

Hmmm, I'm liking the idea of celebrating the parents on the birthdays- we should totally start for gifts!

insert 'asking' in between start and for in previous comment. I was so excited at the idea I left out the word!

I agree your mom deserves special recognition for the day you were born. Running the length of the Honolulu airport to great your grandmother just to leave the airport to go eat and have her water break before the food could even be started. what a wonderful day for us all.
