I'll be.

feeling a little 'blocked' in the blog department.
but,
all is good.
just catching up after a trip always 'gets' me.

just so you don't feel left out:

a gold/diamond ring we bought in Portugal has been deemed sterling silver and CZ.
yep. a $1000 sterling silver and CZ ring people.

working on a something or another with the bank to try and get some money back.

told the jeweler, here, that is was actually ok because after we got home we watched the movie Blood Diamond and all I could think about was where the diamonds in my new ring came from - I was actually relieved that they weren't diamonds.
It's ok. You can laugh. Jake did.

I told a pan-handler, in the $ theatre parking lot, to 'just go away, I'm busy with my kids'.
yes, me.
he was standing right behind me for who knows how long waiting for me to back out of the car (I was buckling everyone and fighting them because they were in melt-down).
it freaked me out, we had a three second stare down and all I could be was annoyed.
no compassion, no thought other than 'go away'.

not my finest moment.
again, you can laugh. Jake did.

had run in with the Nazi librarian (if you use the library on base here you know who I'm talking about...Jake did)
who wouldn't give me the books I was trying to check out until I gave her back the 14 books we'd had out (but rechecked and not due yet) since May.
I don't know what her problem was!???

and again. you can laugh. I did.

Lydia and Samantha loved their first VBS.
I missed them and can't wait to have them back with us all week next week.

This is Lydia's last day of being 4.
WHAT!!!???
I'm sad.
no laughing.

I'm with you on the blood diamond thing. No more diamonds for me! (yes I have a plethera of jewels! not!)I am considering donating my engagement ring to a charity that ministers to Siearra Leone, but I'm not sure yet. Glad you can be relieved about being taken in.
