We have made Melissa's services known to CASA (the agency of advocates for foster kids in our area) that she is willing to do free senior portraits for the kids graduating high school - we hear that the cost of having a high schooler is a little crazy and we also heard that sometimes these foster families struggle financially in general so Melissa thought it'd be a good fit to bless these families with at least not having the cost of senior portraits but still getting great photos of their HUGE accomplishment.
If these kids graduate high school it's under more pressure than any child should be expected to be under.
We haven't had the opportunity to help any one of the CASA kids out (not the season yet) but there is this amazing young lady in our youth group who gives and serves and gives some more and I knew that she would be blessed with a set of free senior portraits.
And I think she was!!!!
It was incredible practice for Melissa and me to work with someone we already knew and they turned out AmazING.
I did the make up,
Nicole picked out the outfits,
Melissa and I provided lots of accessories (we have an accessory problem ;-),
Nicole's cousin and sister picked out the accessories,
and
Melissa shot over 600 pictures in 3 hours.
It was a blessing for ALL.
I love it!
....and here are TWO of the 600 photos!

I know, cute, right!?
