new discoveries.

I love the everyday new discoveries.
I love the excitment and determination in learning them.
I love watching these girls grow!!

Lydia, just this week, has learned how to blow a bubble and braid hair (pretty sure I was like TEN when I learned that, but maybe I didn't have My Little Ponies?).

and Sophie can snap ;-)

and then I wonder, where does that passion, determination and excitement for growing go when we get older?
instead of exciting and new, it becomes embarrassing and awkward.

gonna work on that one, care to join me?!

Oh my gosh, your girls put ME to shame! I was OLD before I learned to snap, and don't get me started on braiding hair....I still can't do a french braid to save my life.

Camryn is an expert whister and Tyler has just recently started whistling! And I don't see all 4 & 6 year olds walking around doing that...but maybe.

Bubble blowing will come soon for my girls...they were just allowed to start eating gum when they turned six...But they have to buy it with their own money!

The picture of Lydia is my favorite ever!

So innocent, so childlike, so fun.

It could win awards!
