oh these girls.

a few words from this weekend:

Lydia: Mama, we get to pick up Nana from the Airforrest this week!

Sophie: (was explaining to Lydia was 'thick' meant - water is thin, yogurt is thick, etc... which led to a discussion of all things thick) after a lull in the conversation Sophie pipes up with -

Grandpa Flip is thick!!

......but he's all better now ;-)

Nora and Daddy: Who is Sophie? Robot. Who is Mommy? Holly. Who is Samantha? Sister. Who is Sophie? Robot. we're not quite sure why Sophie was a robot to Nora, but ok.

Nora: came down the stairs extremely sad and told me she was crying because Sophie wouldn't smile at her....I think she loves her sister!

Samantha:

it's funny to me that I have captured in my brain quirky things the other girls have said this weekend but can't remember Samantha's.

There's a reason for that. It's because just about everything that comes out of her mouth is 'capturable'.

I never envisioned or thought about or dreamed of having a straight up COMEDIAN for a child.

Literally...she has us rolling in hysterics no matter what our mood, no matter what the time of day, just no matter anything....she has peopled pegged!

We had a great weekend!

Slumber party with the highschool girls in my group (which my girls LOVED!), worked on the table somemore (it's almost doooOne! I went with plan C ;-), scored more deals at Walgreens and Target, AWESOME sermon at church (gonna miss this church more than I can bear to imagine right now) and lots of cuddles and hugs with the girls.

Looking forward to a FUN/CRAZY/FUN week!

My mom is coming to town,

NEW MOON ON THURSDAY/FRIDAY (and the plan is to spend 7 hours in line with my posse for opening night ;-)!!!!!!!!! If I sound 13 it's because I feel 13 - and I'm not sure that's a bad thing once in a while!)

Youth Retreat this weekend (because I'll be totally rested after staying up until 2am the night before - see above) Praying For God to CHANGE some hearts in crazy ways!!!

I'll be making a Bella cake....oh yeah!....for my buddy who's birthday will be while we're standing in line for 7 hours ;-)

Working on Christmas gifts (came up with some fun ones, but I can't share because too many people read this who might be recipients of the gifts)
