224 lbs worth of bags.
over 300 bags.
5 VERY large boxes.
on their way to Ukraine, right now.
wow....those are going to be some BLESSED kids!
if even for just a few minutes.
and, this isn't my strength.
this collecting, organizing, sorting, administrating, adjusting, remembering who has what and when it's coming and who's bringing it, etc.
it was bad.
and if you need to know how to make labels, of the non-address type, on your mac...I'm your girl. after many tears and getting mad and a call to my dad, I'm your girl.
seriously!? Mac's are easy, except for THAT!
I collected from 6 different churches, who collected from many people, and from over 20 individuals.
cool project, misdirected strengths, worth it and would do over in a heart beat but definitely misdirected!
I need to note this to self.
my strength would be the talking.
JUST the talking.....
next time I think I'll volunteer to be the voice and leave all this organizing to the organizing junkies.
again, it was totally worth it.
I have prayed more for orphans in Ukraine today that I have ever before - I feel so connected to each of them, I have touched each of their bags numerous times and that's just cool.
my kids 'get it' and they loved it
my basement is a glorious wreck and I love it.
worth it.
worth it and even more.
just a few pic's because really, we worked on this ALL day and it was time sensitive enough that I just had to keep working!

(this is about 1/3 of the gifts)

and sounds like you learned some stuff. we all have our strengths...you have MANY!
What a cool project, Holly! Your girls are blessed by it, the Ukraine children are blessed by it, and our God is blessed by your efforts :)
Thank you my precious Holly for being a willing vessel for the Father to fill up and pour out on so many.
