Jake hadn't been since Jr. High.
I hadn't been in over 12 years.
My family spent a lot of time on the ice as a kid, my dad loves it, but Jake had been twice in his entire life - so, I 'got my legs back' in about 20 seconds however, it was crowded and small and we lasted 20 min's - Jake wanted to go with a clean record of never having fallen on the ice ;-)
hee hee....oh man, it was fun while it lasted though!
and took pictures of cool stuff in the Old Market, because that place is just cool!

While we were there, Santa came in, handed out little tins of candy canes to everyone except one table, where he delivered an engagement ring - and she said YES! It's a small enough restaurant that everyone knew what was going on and we all clapped (everyone meaning the staff, we figured it out after we got the tin and saw the guy down on one knee!)

We keep meaning to go down there to ice skate and keep forgetting! Isaak and me both love to ice skate, hopefully we'll make it out there this year. Looked like fun!
OMG!! that's where we were last night too! We had dinner at Urban Wine Co. and then headed to the ice skating rink around 9:15.
