worked on more Christmas presents:
Bath Fizz

Bath Fizz
1 1/3 c. Epsom Salt
1 1/3 c. Baking Soda
1/2 c. Powdered Milk
1/2 c. Citric Acid Powder (ordered online/ebay)
10-15 drops peppermint essential oil (or your choice!)
2 pkgs unsweetened koolaide
mix all together, put in cool jars
(like, peanut butter and olive jars you've rescued from the landfill and spray painted the lids to 'disguise' them)
ask your friends with babies for their formula scoops (thanks Liz!)
add 2 scoops per bath.
Lip Balm
1 tbs. Vaseline
1/3 tsp honey
sm lipstick shavings
essential oil of your choice (we used rosewater)
melt all in microwave,
sprinkle with glitter,
pour into pots - let cool (only takes about 5 min.)
1 cup Vodka
2 vanilla beans
cool jar
let soak for 2 months, discard beans, enjoy!
and then we hit up our regular Thursday spot for lunch....it's $.99 kids meal day at Applebees and we've been way cooped up! (I feed all five of us for $12 ;-)
that wasn't enough 'getting out' for this girl, so on to Salvation Army we went.
the girls Christmas shopped for daddy and here are just a FEW of mommy's treasures.
we don't always score at thrift stores but the times we do are what keep us coming back for more!
