blah.

didn't sleep last night.

not one wink.

this happens at least twice a month.

pretty sure it's hereditary - shout out to the women in my family!

(not their fault, that was a 'good' shout out, I just know that both my grandmothers and my mother struggle here)

and if I didn't have four little girls to take care of and be chipper for, it'd be no big deal.

but I do.

They don't know I'm tired.

They just know I'm being sorta weird.

And I wish I weren't, for them.

I'm a more present mommy when I'm rested.

I read books without falling asleep, I smile more, I dance when the music is on...

ya know.

they were both very asleep here and after a few minutes, so was Jake.
