Jake's mom was hospitalized for pneumonia on the 28th and just got home today.

Happy New Year to her.

so sad and so frustrating - I am trying NOT to imagine.

We have held down the fort and had some joyous times but have really missed her.

will recap it all when we get back -

she's home now, so we're staying and extra day to pack in some time with her.

so glad we could even do that!
