CHRISTMAS/NEW YEARS MEMORIES IN TEXAS

#1 - cracks us all up that there is 1 sister and four brothers but now there is 1 grandson and 8 grandgirls. it's payback time apparently!

#2 - still doesn't seem fair that Grandma had to go to the hospital for 3 days but we are so glad she's well and we are so glad for the time she did get to spend with us all!

#3 - we were 2 days late and Grandma was out for 3 days so we stayed 1 extra day. I'm not sure how that works out mathematically but I do know it worked.

#4 - the drive down and the drive up were good. why don't we do more road trips!?

really, the girls were great and it was fun. (make no mistake, I am back and forth from front to back A LOT but it makes for a quick feeling trip!)

#5 - there's no explaining it but playing Balderdash with Jake, his three brothers and one sister should be filmed and YouTubed - for money.

#6 - I still stink at 42. A domino game that is big in the Panter family and they have been trying to 'sell' me on for 12 years now....still not sold.

#7 - It's hard to be this far from Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Grandmas, Grandpas, Mawmaws - And it wouldn't be hard if trips like this one weren't SO good.
