reasoning:
guest room a MUST - we're not even there yet and no kidding we have two scheduled visitors that aren't even family! (very excited about this part of living in DC - we LOVE visitors!)
wanting to do an 'old fashion' nursery type of room for all four girls
thinking that a finished den/basement area would be good for this.
we might be expanding our family while there and will need room to swell.
(and I do not mean my ankles)
open kitchen/dining areas - logistically with this many toddlers, I need to be able to throw them their piece of toast, not have to walk through a doorway and hand it to them - manners are so over rated!
clean bathrooms/clean in general - just cause I don't do other people's dirt/hair/soap scum...ya know!?
commute - because I know it can be done - most people say it's just not possible, but that's not what I'm finding
$ - because I know it can be done - most people are telling me we'll have to pay out of pocket and we're just going to do our darnest not to
(are you getting the jist that I don't do well when I'm told "you can't"....now, if someone would just tell me "I can't loose weight" I'd be much obliged!)

Holly, Good luck with that... I am not going to tell you that you can not do it but good luck with that. Know that they are doing alot of construction at the pentagon and he might be moved to another place. We did a search for the same kind of house, in the same area and well we are in Woodbridge. We love it here!!! Know that Jake will need to use the bus or the metro. I hope you find what you are looking for. I understand the wanting to prove people wrong I am just like that.
I can't wait to be one of your visitors! So that means you know I will be praying for God to provide a spacious house because you have to have room for me! It will all come together....in the words of George Michael, "Ya gotta have faith!" The Bible says that too of course.
We have good friends that live outside DC & they absolutely love it! They've seriously done something diff every weekend, it's so cool!
Can't wait to see what kind of adventures & the way you will minister there! And that same friend is a 1st grade teacher who would probably love to babysit! haha :) -Erika Cargle

Add another set of visitors to that list, I'm totally serious... we're there! The house stuff is totally going to work out, God has it ready and waiting I'm sure! Now when can we come through the first time? :)
