an unhealthy trip to the dentist.

Nora was a little excited and came prepared with her OWN set of sunglasses.
They want to be like their big sisters SO BAD sometimes.
Other times, not so much ;-)

I am packing every appointment I can into these next couple of weeks before we head out.

(I'm dreaming this will give me time to research where we'll need to go without having to go right after we get there....a girl can dream.)

the dentist being one of them.

I'd heard of this place.
I heard good things.

And it was. It was very very good.
My camera battery died so I got all of two pictures, but trust me, it was very very good!

So good that it has caused an unhealthy 'teeth cleaning obsession' in our house.

It's somewhere in the vicinity of six times a day EACH brushing and
four - five times a day EACH flossing.

We have some seriously clean teeth and gums around here.

And I feel a chill up my spine every time they take x-rays of Samantha's teeth.
she's four and it already ain't pretty. This time they took x-rays of the twins and now those same chills are going down my spine with a look at Nora's x-rays
there are braces and $ and pain in their futures.

but, hopefully knowing this early will make the blow not so tough for all of us.

anyone know of a good secondary dental insurance!???
oh man.

Let me know if you do find a second dental insurance that pays up.We just finished a round at the orthodontist with Joel....didn't realize that Concordia pays 50%.... (up to $1500 life time payout per person) NICE! So braces will require some extra Money. Especially if your paying X3.
My only advice is catch it all early. There is so much they can do around age 7-9 now while the growth plates in the palet are still open.
:( so sorry to hear the girls will have to go through this.

On another note, the Twilight song was awesome. Jon loved it!
It is sad that it was so true. We were to leave for China and 10 hours prior to the flight I still had 100 pages left to read. My husband asked,"Aren't you going to pack for our trip?" NICE I KNOW. Even Jade has the fever!

Miss ya sweetie.
PS. Don't forget to have a little bit of fun while moving. Write welcome letters to yourself on all of the boxes. It is so cool to get to the next house and see what you wrote.

I booked the girls apt. today. They couldn't get me in next week, so they won't get to buddy up with Lydia for their appointments. Good idea to bring your own sunglasses...I think we'll do that.

Is leaving my girls teeth crooked an option?? Seriously, if it's their bottom teeth does it matter?

I am thinking about skipping this whole money gobbling place in favor of a natural look for my four kids! ha!

My Sophie is in the same boat. I had all kinds of braces and stuff done. Corey did not. Figured our kids had a 50/50 chance. Maybe we'll get just one of the three?!
