funny.
I think I can count on ONE hand the amount of times I've heard a sermon/bible study/speech on this.
and yet....
it seems SO important to God.
is it important to me?
Unity in the body of believers?
Eph 4:
as far as it depends on you, live at peace with other believers.
maturity comes from learning about God's fullness
God's fullness comes from everyone using what God has graced them with, and BEING LET TO.
There are a lot of 'pretty' churches - everyone on stage is dressed to a T, everyone speaking is amazing, the 'environment' (getting really sick of that word, btw) is perfect,
basically, no one is making a mistake.
really, who wants to be a part of a group where mistakes aren't accepted or made?
I don't know what the solution is.
Other than to love no matter what, love love love.
Unity in the body:
Love them whether they make a mistake or
Love them if they appear to make no mistake.
Love = Unity = God's fullness = Maturity = more love!
and if you followed that, we are on the same planet ;-)
also...
reading this book.
(Crazy Love by Francis Chan....in case you don't want to go to the link right now!)
and HOLY WOW.
Wow.
I knew it'd be good, everyone has said so.
But I feel in one moment like screaming AMEN and then next I feel like curling up in a shameful ball - it's digging deep.
It's uncomfortable....it's good.
I'm on Ch 6 and just had to put it down so I could 'chew' what I was reading.
(also, so I could 'take care' of the situation UP STAIRS!!!! AAAAHHH!!!!!)

yeah, thought this book was awesome too!
I Love This!
My brother lives in TX and every once in awhile we will be on the phone for HOURS discussing something that we read in the Bible.
Unity in the body of Christ is what is lacking in today's world. There is so much judgment going on that sometimes I think "the body" doesn't realize how many limbs or eyes they have gorged out.
I like this post. I like this post A LOT!
