why soap operas work for us with life lessons:

This is actually really really funny to me.
(and it was to them too...as soon as I turned off the camera I didn't say a word, I just sat down on the floor and hit play so they could see themselves...giggles galore, I tell ya! GI.GG.LES! Which I though was great, so we had a chat about how silly arguing with your sisters is!)

But really, it's funny to me because I can be a tinsy winsy little bit dramatic when I'm telling a good story, or when I'm scared, or when I'm stressed, when I'm excited......ok, I'm just dramatic in general. so!?
(I'm always the person you call with good news, I will scream happy screams for you with no hesitation!)
And when I really get going 'death' is always a part somehow.
I can't get a hold of Jake for a few hours and I should be able to, in my mind, he's dead on the side of the road somewhere.
I don't know how many times in my life I've said, "oh my gosh, I'm gonna die" - when I'm excited, when I'm blown away, whenever!?
My kids are sick and it's a 'new' one, like when Sophie had bronchitis for the first time, I thought she was going to die.
I was 'that' mom, that checked on her kids ALL. THE. TIME. because I thought they were gonna die.
I've had a hard week, "I'm just gonna die".
Funny. I don't have ANY fear of death...it's just where I automatically go!
Apparently, some else has been listening.
oops.
negative one point for this mommy!

Oh my goodness, they are ADORABLE! If that is little girl/sister fighting SIGN ME UP! So much nicer than swords and shooting and all out body slamming tackles! And did she say that she said she wanted to be kicked in the neck too so she could be with them... like in heaven? Sooooooo dear! Love it!

If I was only listening to a recording with no video. I would bet money that was a 4 yr old I knew about 26 years ago. Really....... Scary.......
